I’ve LOVED every game I’ve played from Afterburn, but this one really misses the mark for me. It really just comes down to the fact that I feel like in a lot of the levels I’m randomly placing track pieces until I get the EXACT right track orientation that is required to solve the level. There’s hardly any strategy required, it’s more just guess and check. To me, that’s more frustrating than fun. Add that onto the fact that there are no hints and no way to skip a level that you’re stuck on.

Railbound is a twisty puzzle game about a pair of dogs traveling around the world by train.
Connect and disconnect the railway tracks in different scenes and help everyone reach their homes. Solve over 150 clever puzzles, from gentle slopes to winding paths.

Place, remove and reorient couplings to safely connect locomotive cars. But be careful and don’t leave them together!

I’ve loved all the games I’ve played since Afterburn, but this was a complete ad for me. I felt like in many levels, I randomly placed parts of the track until I had the right track orientation to complete the level. There is almost no strategy required, just guesswork and analysis. For me, it’s more frustrating than fun. Add to that the fact that there are no hints and no way to skip levels where you stop.
