Introduction Boat Master: Boat Parking & Na.
Boat Master is a marina berthing (parking) simulation game where players have to berth different boats in varying conditions. It is designed to replicate the controls and conditions of berthing a real boat in a marina as closely as possible.
Current Features
– Drive and berth a motorboat and superyacht (see screenshots below) with 2 engines and bow and stern thrusters using two realistic control schemes to simulate realistic berthing and driving at speed (see screenshots below for details).
– Drive a yacht with a single engine, steering wheel and realistic physics effects like prop walking
– Drive a speedboat with a single engine & steering wheel as well as realistic tilting when turning at speed.
– Drive a dual engine control Euro Cruiser with a steering wheel but no thrusters.
– Complete levels with varying berthing conditions and situations, including:
– A hands-on tutorial level explaining the different controls
– Wind and current which vary in direction and strength in different levels
– Different berth locations and widths
– Randomly timed thruster failure in harder levels
– Berth the boat as quickly as you can without damaging it with the built-in time-based scoring system as well as the new 3 star rating system, where you need to meet certain requirements to achieve a 2 or 3 star rating along with completing the level.
– Complete 5 navigation levels per boat which feature realistic navigation markers and signs, as well as other AI controlled boats and Jet Skis which you must evade to complete the level. Some of these levels are also complete night levels where it is difficult to see what is around the boat as a new feature to realistically increase the difficulty of later levels.
– Realistic water physics with drag based on speed and realistic boat handling
– Console and PC level graphics with modern post-processing effects like Bloom, Ambient Occlusion and Filmic Colour Grading. When you start the game, if you select ‘Balanced’, the game will automatically choose the best settings for your device, balancing graphics and performance. You can also change these settings manually in the ‘custom’ mode.
– Battery saver mode, which limits FPS and graphics to improve battery life.
– Full Tablet support
– Try the first level of each of the paid boats after watching an ad
DISCLAIMER: This app is not a substitute for real life boat berthing or driving training, some boats that are not the motorboat (like the superyacht) are / will be paid DLC (they are behind an in-app purchase that costs real money to unlock).

New feature in Boat Master: Boat Parking & Na.
This update to Boat Master fixes more issues, such as the next level button not working correctly in the tutorial and for some boats, completion zone errors, and camera issues on the Jet Ski.

Really like the concept but I think the physics could be improved a bit. The steering of the yacht (sailboat) is not responsive, a real sailboat has a relatively large rudder and steers well at slow speeds both under power with prop wash as well as under sail or coasting. Additionally the prop walk is light but that could be realistic depending on the boat. I would also like to see steering control on the twin engine powerboat and super yacht. Although they can be manuvered with differential power steering allows for additional control of the lateral motion of the vessel. I’m being picky as a marine engineer but really appreciate the effort put in by the developer and hope they continue to improve and add to the app

Boat Master is a marina simulation (parking) game where players have to dock different boats in different situations. It is designed to simulate as closely as possible the handling and mooring conditions of a real boat in a marina.
Current functions
– Rudder and motorboat and superyacht with 2 engines, bow and stern thrusters (see screenshot below) using two realistic control schemes to simulate real docking and acceleration (see screenshot below for details).
– Drive the yacht with realistic physical effects such as an engine, rudder and prop passage
– Drive a fast boat with realistic engine and steering wheel and tilt while turning at high speed.
– Operate the Euro Cruiser twin engine control with the steering wheel but without the booster.
– Complete levels with different landing situations and conditions, including:
– Live tutorial level explaining different controls
– Strong winds and currents in different directions and at different levels
– Different places and width of the posts
– Random booster failure on harder levels
– Unite as quickly as possible without breaking the ships with a built-in time-based scoring system, as well as a new 3-star rating system where you must fulfill certain requirements to get a 2 or 3-star rating by completing the level . .
– Complete 5 navigation levels for each ship with realistic navigation marks and indicators, as well as other AI-controlled ships and Jet Skis that you must avoid to finish the level. I really like the concept, but I think the physics could be improved a bit. The yacht (sailboat) rudder is not responsive, real sailboats have a relatively large rudder and handle well under power with prop wash and at low speed under sail or at sea. Also, the support drop is light, but depending on the ship it can be true. I would also like to see the driving of twin motor boats and superyachts. Despite its maneuverability, differential power allows more control of the ship’s lateral movement. I would choose as a marine engineer, but I really appreciate the effort made by the developers and I hope they continue to improve and add to the app.
