Great idea, confusing ui, awful tutorial, success requires rote memorization of enemy attack patterns which is frustrating and boring. There’s something here, but this isn’t it. Edit: normal difficulty should have enemy sprites flash in their parry window. That would be a huge upgrade to player retention. Harder modes could turn it off. Chaining attacks tutorial made no sense, and most of the UI went undefined, obtuse iconography (same attack types can be chained? Where is the attack type?)
