The skills added by this are pretty interesting, and overall the game is easier/less luck based. I would recommend it to people who dont want to have to try too hard. But it does mess with some pre existing features that will confuse veterans. For instance sacrificial altars dont reveal your position to monsters so you have to lure them over. As well they seem to take an ungodly amount of sacrifices. Apparently on floor 2 about 25 kobolds is not enough for a scroll.

The skills it adds are quite interesting and the game is generally easier/less lucky. I recommend it to people who don’t want too much effort. But it comes with some basic features that may confuse veterans. For example, the altar of sacrifice does not show your monster location, so you have to take it. Also, they seem to sacrifice an ungodly amount. Apparently 25 kobolds on the 2nd floor isn’t enough for a rotation.
