Special Developer Notes:
When our team set out to make Strange World, we drew inspiration from our fond memories of playing RTS games on our computers. We really wanted to bring that experience into mobile gaming world while incorporating survival game elements from modern mobile games. We set out an ambitious goal of creating a game that is a new form of hybrid game that wasn’t widely available on the market. New systems were created to bridge that gap between PC and mobile. This included our team making dozens of prototypes to address RTS controls on mobile, the end result is an intuitive gesture control mechanic allowing the game to achieve traditional RTS-like feeling on a smartphone. We tried staying true to form of a traditional PC-based RTS games of simultaneous multi-unit controls, resource management, micro-management battle system with modern survival game elements such as item crafting and meta-game upgrades. We hope the end product is a truly unique mobile game that breaks the mould of current set mobile game genres.

The game is very interesting, many mini games options. Its just not very friendly for beginner. There is no ammo, only durability. And durability is a joke. They will disappear only in a couple of minutes battle so you have to keep making them/weapon. Healing tower is useless and there is no upgrade for it. Also there is no repair function so tower guard are easily destroy, sometimes enemy range attack further than the tower. Another is there should be auto toggle for skill.

The new system was created to bridge the gap between computers and mobile phones. This includes our team creating several prototypes to handle RTS controls on mobile, with the end result being an intuitive gesture control mechanic that allows games to achieve a traditional RTS-like feel on a smartphone. We strive to stay true to the traditional PC-based form of RTS games with multi-unit management, resource management, micro-management battle system, combining modern survival game elements such as item crafting and meta-game improvements. The game is very interesting, there are many mini-game options. It’s just not very beginner friendly. No ammo, just resistance. And continuity is a joke. It disappears after a few minutes of combat, so you have to continue crafting them / weapons. The healing tower is useless and has no upgrades. It also lacks a healing feature to easily destroy the tower defense, sometimes causing the enemy to move away from the tower. There should be an automatic switch for other skills.
